ADVANCED MAINTENANCE TRAINING 2008
MAKO is offering nine of their popular Advanced Maintenance Training courses, for Distributors and Customers, for 2008. Over 1000 students have already been certified through this program. These courses provide valuable instructions regarding installation, operation and trouble shooting of high quality MAKO products. These courses ensure that Authorized Distributors are certified to perform the necessary maintenance and service on MAKO all air products.
These Advanced Training courses are practical and hands on with plenty of time to ask questions. Air-cooled compressors are provided for tear down as well as valves, pistons and other parts for disassembly and re-assembly. MAKO Universal Manuals are provided free of charge to all participants. Technical information is also provided about parts and service for all subjects covered in the course. Each student who successfully passes the course receives a certificate and wallet card that certifies a technician for a period of 4 years.
Who should attend
Advanced Training courses are also offered specifically for customers. This training certifies them to perform services only on their own equipment. Customers will be required to obtain the approval of the Distributor, covering their territory, before they can attend a certification course.
Each course is limited to a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 4 participants. If less than the minimum number of participants sign up for a course, that session will be cancelled. Those participants will be rescheduled for the next available course.
What is the cost
The cost for customers to attend an Advanced Training course is $700, per person. Payment must be made by purchase order, money order or check. The course fee must be paid before the customer can attend and participate in the class.
MAKO does provide a free continental breakfast and lunch each day of training at its facility. It also provides a free, one night, social dinner at a local restaurant.
All other expenses for meals, transportation (including from hotel to factory), and lodging, travel, etc. and other are the responsibility of the participants attending the course.
Travel and lodging
We recommend using Orlando International Airport for travel to Ocala. The distance between Orlando and Ocala is approximately 90 miles. Reservations are required and should be arranged by the participant. Participants should also make arrangements for their own transportation between the hotel and the factory.
